Software and video tools in education. Are they worth the investment? A brief account of few experiment

This communication aims at reporting on our experience in using software and video tools in our teaching activity in the field of electromagnetic waves and their applications. The population concerned with these experiments are made of students in their second or third year at the university, engineers in their graduating year and technicians in continuing education programs. With the results at hand, we observe that the students consider these tools as helpful means for the understanding of abstract concepts
