Abstract
This paper presents a quantitative performance analysis of the dual-cell high-speed downlink packet access (DC-HSDPA) operation focused on the gain achieved by pooling the radio resources of two carriers in the same base station and enabling a collaborative operation (joint-scheduling) on the lower radio layers.
