Abstract

This paper presents teaching reform and practice of the course - “software design and development”, using the methods of case analysis and group discussion. In the teaching reform, some teaching cases were illustrated, including ATM simulation system, mobile addresses system, ATM simulation system based MVC framework and college information management system based on Java EE platform, including some widely used open source frameworks such as Struts and Hibernate. Students are very familiar with the domains of the above systems and so teaching effect can be improved.
