Abstract :
This paper describes the development of a semi-generative CAPP system for a mold production department that designs and manufactures injection molds of plastic components. The CAPP system is based on part coding and decision trees and aims to provide integration between the CAD, CAM, production planning and shop floor control systems in the facility
