Abstract
An efficient Doppler compensated correlator and a method of low Doppler interference removal are presented. Post-correlation Doppler compensation in the delay domain enables the correlator to achieve a large processing advantage over pre-correlation compensation. Simulation results are included to demonstrate that this correlator preserves the delay - delay rate ambiguity surface. The low Doppler interference removal technique removes low Doppler contacts from detection display grams. Both the advantages and limitations of this process are discussed.
