Abstract :
This paper presents a new infrared data broadcasting protocol that can be used for realizing contents delivering system and possible application for educational system. To realize a higher communication speed by infrared communication, we developed a new infrared data delivering protocol with a VFIR physical layer and implemented the protocol in a Linux based platform successfully. As an application of the infrared data broadcasting protocol, we gave a concept description on a new style educational system, which is expected to provide a new style teaching service with combination of infrared communication and radio wireless communication.
