Abstract :
The solution to a team, linear quadratic game is given, with one performance index for the team in competition with a common evader. A particular reduction approach allows the convenient study of the controllability of the game which, in turn, allows a solution to the problem of optimal disposition of a team of pursuers to neutralize or gain a control edge over an evader.
