Abstract :
The state-of-the-art methods of dynamic modelling of systems having complex behaviour that are based on their diagnostics by time and/or space series enable researchers to get a general picture of spatial organisation of the system, i.e. of the couplings between its elements. In practice, however, elaboration of models for multidimensional systems usually proceeds from a priori hypotheses, whereas measurements of the time series in real experiments allow for choosing the appropriate one. Such hypotheses must naturally be based on the properties of the time series in ensembles with known organisation of coupling between elements. The paper focuses on analysis of the effect of coupling on the formation of the structures that are synchronised in time but have a complex arrangement in space. These structures are significant for constructing models for recognition of multifragment objects. Besides, the authors consider the potentialities of determining the character of spatial couplings from analysis of the time series measured at one element
