Abstract
A control-oriented hypersonic vehicle(HSV) model which is always obtained by simplifying the form of the model, and neglecting certain weak couplings etc. The credibility of simplified model of HSV should be effectively verified. A quantitative assessment method which based on frequency domain is presented to validate the dynamic performance consistency of the model. The classical and modern spectrum estimation methods are all adopted to analyze the dynamic performance in frequency domain, and criteria based on statistical properties are proposed. The simulations show the spectrum analysis validation methods effectiveness.
