Abstract :
A basic wireless monitoring control system was developed, including prototype modems, which will provide the means to transmit data through a radio link. The modems were connected to an IBM Compatible computer through an RS-232 interface. Two computer programs, generating normal ASCII data, were developed to provide the communications software between the computer and the modems. The hardware, software, and system operation are described
