Abstract :
In the paper, we study period of processing on production line when it processes batch jobs under nonblocking optimal control. The jobs are nonidentical, they are processed on nonidentical machines, and there are various processing times. Then we provide an optimal scheduling problem, and give an algorithm for it. Finally we apply these result to hot-metal rolling production line at TaiYuan steel company, we obtain optimal scheduling table of different kind steel plate
