Abstract :
The article discusses the method of realisation and principle of operation, complemented by the results of simulation tests, of the 36-pulse rectifier with a system of coupled three-phase reactors. Moreover, the paper presents sample calculations of basic parameters, including the reactor rating power, which are required in the design process. It also presents various configuration variants of windings in the discussed converter system.
