  • Abstract
The effective mass m* of excess electrons in liquid argon, krypton, and xenon is calculated as a function of number density in the dense liquid region near the triple point of the liquids. The calculations are performed in the framework of the Wigner-Seitz theory for nonpolar fluids, using proper, high-precision pseudopotentials to represent the electron-rare-gas-atom interactions
