Abstract :
This paper presents a continuation method for decentralized eigenstructure assignment for interconnected systems. The set of allowable decentralized constant output feedbacks assigning a given spectrum is characterized by a solution manifold of a singular system of differential equations. By selecting appropriate trajectories along this manifold one can also assign "allowable" eigenvectors.
