Abstract :
In this paper first we present a method of generating 2-variable Very Stricly Hurwitz Polynomial (VSHP) using the earlier work of the authors [4] and concept of resistive matrices in order to avoid calculation of partial derivatives as required by the method of [4]. In the second part of this paper application of 2- variable VSHP in the design of 2-D recursive digital filters satisfying a prescribed magnitude specification is given. Finally to illustrate the usefullness of the proposed method an example is given.
