  • Abstract
    To be able to optimise a vacuum circuit breaker one has to pay attention to: - possible short arcing time to reduce the energy dissipated between contacts; - application of a high speed actuator especially for the highest rated voltages; - concentrate on solution of vacuum chambers and contact design generating axial magnetic field (AMF) and the lowest possible overvoltages.
