Abstract
Dynamics of large space structures (LSS) is most well described by the distributed parameter system and thus naturally a controller for LSS is most appropriately designed if no discretization is adopted in the course of the mathematical description of LSS. Some recent control methods for control of LSS are reviewed briefly for the controller design without any sacrifice of discretization and, thus, without any crucial truncation effect, including the Lyapunov function control and wave-absorbing control
