Abstract
Before the occurrence of the landslide, there´s always some micro displacement. This paper puts forward a novel kind of landslide monitoring system based on the spread-spectrum continuous wave radar. This system consists of two parts: corner reflector and radar instrument. The continuous carrier signal is modulated by pseudo noise code and radiated to the corner reflector and then returned to the radar instrument in the radical direction inversely. After de-spreading the signal, we can recover the echo carrier signal. The phase difference variance between these two carrier signals is proportional to the radical displacement of the corner installed on the land slope. The simulation has proved that compared with traditional continuous wave micro displacement monitoring radar, it has better performance with the very simple structure.
