Abstract
This paper considers the design of strictly proper H∞ controllers for general generalized plants. The existence condition of strictly proper H∞ controllers with reduced-orders via linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach is obtained. An LMI-based design method for strictly proper H∞ controllers with reduced-orders is also proposed. This paper generalizes some previous results about strictly proper H∞ control problems
