Abstract :
This paper considers the H2 output feedback control for continuous-time descriptor systems. A necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of an optimal controller is derived based on the model matching in the frequency domain. The optimal controller is characterized in terms of the solutions to two generalized algebraic Riccati equations
