Abstract
This paper reports on a method for speech recognition using as pre-processing system either a Peripheral Auditory System (PAS) model, or Linear Prediction Coding (LPC). Certain speech recognition problems have been examined using Ficher´s Discriminant analysis technic, in order to separate different classes of sounds.
