Abstract :
This paper deals with adaptive control based on explicit identification. The problem of stabilizability of the identified model is solved in the passive approach, i.e. without requiring persistently exciting inputs. This solution is robust vis-??-vis time-varying processes, unstructured disturbances and model order errors, and this approach is not restricted to a particular class of control laws.
