Abstract
A certain decelerating and rotating dynamics model for some typical rotating parachute system is proposed in this paper. Firstly, its structure characteristics and decelerating and rotating process for this rotating parachute system was introduced and described and analyzed. Then, a typical vortex ring parachute system was chosen to be analyzed in detail. Based on the analysis of its working principle, its aerodynamic forces and moments were analyzed, and the basic dynamics model was founded finally. The results can provide some valuable references for the overall design and the exterior ballistic trajectory study for the terminal-sensitive projectile.
