Abstract
A preliminary study to accelerate the ML-EM blind deconvolution algorithm for 3D microscopic image reconstruction has been performed. The non-accelerated blind algorithm usually generates a sharp reconstructed image at around 300 iterations. We obtained a comparable image reconstruction at around 50 iterations using the accelerated version of the blind algorithm
