Abstract :
The polarization reversal technology of ferroelectric optical crystals enables us to construct new highspeed signal processing devices with advanced functions; wireless signal discrimination for space-division-multiplexing systems, pre-equalization for signal distortion in long haul optical fiber communications, and so on. In this paper, potentials of these new functional devices for microwave photonic systems are discussed.
