Abstract :
This paper analyses the corresponding relationship between UML 2.0 Testing Profile (U2TP) and the standardized Testing and Test Control Notation version 3 (TTCN-3) and provides a mapping approach from U2TP to TTCN-3, which is demonstrated by an application case of a library lending system. In the application of this mapping approach, a whole set of testing ideas based on system models are established at the initial stage of modeling, so that the number of testing cases can be effectively limited in the early process and valuable testing cases are generated.
