Abstract :
This paper studies the performance of differential chaos shift keying (DCSK) in L-PLC based on the investigation results of channel chaotic characteristic. Firstly, the correlation dimension, largest Lyapunov exponent and Kolmogorov entropy of noise series measured from the L-PLC channel are calculated under various operating conditions. The results prove that L-PLC channel is a chaotic system. Then the theoretical anti-noise performance of DCSK is analyzed based on the correlation between measured noise and chaotic carrier. Thirdly, the simulation is carried out in the AWGN, Rayleigh fading and chaotic noise measured from L-PLC networks channel models respectively. The simulation results show that the BER performance of DCSK is superior to the traditional scheme, and the DCSK scheme has a good capacity to restrain the chaotic noise and distortion of the L-PLC channel.
