Abstract :
Brillouin dynamic grating (BDG) is a kind of optically tunable Bragg grating based on stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS) in optical fibers. This presentation will include the introduction to the fundamental principle of BDG operation, the basic characteristics and the potential applications which have been demonstrated so far.
