Abstract :
A necessary and sufficient condition is obtained for simultaneous stabilizability of two sets of linear time-invariant systems with each set being inside a frequency-domain neighborhood of the nominal system. The necessary and sufficient condition is derived on the basis of interpolation with unit function in H. For some simplified cases, verifiable sufficient conditions for this stabilizability are derived. The construction of the desired stabilizing compensator under such sufficient conditions can be obtained by solving a nonlinear programming problem
