Abstract :
A technique based on the matched filtering method is used to estimate the internal strains of biological tissues. To investigate the feasibility of this method, an one-dimensional elastic model of ultrasonic backscattering has been established. Computer simulation results indicate the method can be used to reconstruct strain profile
