Abstract :
We present a photonic RF front-end employing an optically distributed LO and a link-on-chip photonic integrated circuit (PIC). The PIC includes an optical down-converter and a linear demodulator. By perturbing the phase of the LO signal, an adjustable phase shift can be achieved to the IF output of the photonic RF front-end.
