Abstract
Endosonographic imaging is an emerging technology principally used by medical experts in visualising different layers of the esophageal wall as well as in studying esophageal carcinoma. In this paper, a new approach based on the prior knowledge modelling used in order to determine the inner and outer esophageal walls is developed. Prior knowledge mainly concerns the esophagus anatomy as well as the acquisition system description
