Abstract :
Sensorless speed tracking control of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) is presented in this paper. The T-S fuzzy model is used to approximate the nonlinear system of PMSM. Then, the states of the system can be estimated by a fuzzy observer. While designing the controller and the observer, the concept of parallel distributed compensation (PDC) is used. For converting the tracking control into a stabilization problem, a new control design, called virtual-desired-variable synthesis, is porposed in this paper. Then the practical controller is derived with some adequate assumptions. The gains of controller and observer are obtained separately by solving LMIs. The performance of the proposed sensorless algorithm is verified with the simulation and experimental results of PMSM for T-S fuzzy speed tracking.
