Abstract
This paper aims to present the numerical study of a cascade control system for a medium frequency static converter (MFSC) that supplies an induction heating furnace. This study is carried out by an original procedure for the numerical integration that assures the local-iterative linearization (LIL) of both linear and non-linear differential equations and transforms them, in the close proximity of a pivot moment, into algebraic equations. The results of the numerical simulation with the proposed LIL procedure are compared with the approximated analytical solutions and the advantages of the proposed procedure are highlighted
