Abstract
The concepts of finite decentralized transmission zeros and impulsive decentralized transmission zeros are introduced for descriptor systems. Some necessary and sufficient conditions for the systems to have these zeros are obtained. They are used to describe the generalized decentralised fixed modes and impulsive decentralized fixed modes for descriptor systems. It is pointed out that this represents a more precise description for the relation between transmission zeros and fixed modes
