Abstract
The authors describe techniques for intelligent and cooperative control of a telerobot. The techniques are implemented in a novel telerobot system, MEISTER, which is composed of a task knowledge base, a cooperative control system, and a motion understanding system. A demonstration of a chemical experiment shows how the proposed techniques for man/robot cooperation work in a telerobot task
