Expert system for decision-making in complex environments

Expert system has a perfect performance for solving the decision-making in the complex problem and environment. It does not have to build the strict mathematical model, and may simpiify the complex problem that its knowledge is incomplete or uncertain and its solving depends on the experience and knowledge of the human experts. This system is very effective and efficient for decision support. The tackling in a comprehensive way in the soil is a complicated problem. An expert system SHIFEI-XM for adequate fertilization of the wheat is described in this paper. It has been applied in the vast countryside of a black soil area in China.
