Abstract
The frequency dependence of the effective pyroelectric current, its real and imaginary components, and the phase shift between pyroelectric current and heat flux have been calculated from the given polarization distribution for the case of sinusoidal heat flux modulation. The calculations are compared with experiment for DTGS crystals. It is shown that the existence of a layer with inverse polarization has a considerable effect on the frequency dependence of the pyroelectric current effective value
