  • Abstract
    Directly modulated distributed feedback (DFB) lasers operating around 1550 nm has been demonstrated. The reversed ridge waveguide (RWG) and high-speed planarized coplanar waveguide (CPW) line are used for electron confinement and reducing resistance and capacitance of device. -3 dB bandwidth of >; 20 GHz with 25 Gb/s data transmission was successfully achieved.
