Abstract
Supplier selection is very important in SCM (supply chain management). Companies have to select one or more suppliers they needed. There are many methods about supplier selection. The data type in these methods is either accurate or random or common fuzzy set. More and more suppliers being selected, so it is hard for a company to get accurate data. Fuzzy set data is a kind of data can be gotten more easily. If the data is common fuzzy set, there are some methods to be used. Sometimes, the data is a kind of special fuzzy sets, which is called Intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs). IFSs was presented by Atanassov. In this paper, we introduce the definition of IFSs, and present a supplier selection model that is based on distance measure between IFSs theory. Finally, an example is given.
