Abstract
This paper describes the issues facing the introduction and application of tolerance analysis techniques at British Aerospace. Tolerance analysis software has been in limited use within British Aerospace Military Aircraft and Aerostructures (MA&A) for approximately 3 years. Its use is primarily in the support of manufacturing development projects that are aimed at delivering technology solutions and manufacturing capabilities into the Eurofighter programme
