Abstract :
In this work, we propose a method for estimating the heart instantaneous frequency, which is a manner to estimate the heart rate variability, in an on-line fashion. We develop a driver function, which estimates the fundamental frequency of an ECG, based on a new autoregressive method called exponential autoregressive method. We also find new wavelet parameters to optimize the time-frequency resolution, allowing a more precise filtering of the electrocardiographic (ECG) signal. Simulations and real experiments show the efficiency of the proposed algorithm
