As a new, environmentally friendly, green active source, air-gun is widely applied in marine seismic exploration. This paper reviews the basis of single air-gun wavelet theoretically and related equations, analyzes several parameters which affect air-gun source wavelet. On the basis of Ziolkowski model, we simulate large volume air-gun array far-field wavelet, which is characterized with high primary-bubble ratio and low-frequency-rich now mostly used in deep crustal structure research according to OBS investigation.
