  • Abstract
    The presented work is aimed at the implementation of a decision tool for the evaluation and the management of family-scale to cooperative-scale animal and crop farms. The tool consists in a set of computer programs that can be used interactively by teams of agronomists, nutritionists, economists, decision makers, ..., as a research tool or for the development of rural areas. In order to design such simulation and optimization programs, a systems theoretic approach is used [1,2].
