  • Abstract
    The Factory of the Future will consist of flexible manufacturing cells, each containing robots which work together. Many aspects related to the design and programming of Factory of the Future can be solved using computer simulations. This paper describes a graphical simulation system called ROBSIM. ROBSIM ranges from construction of 3D graphic models of robot cells, programming using graphical teach-in, and 3D animation of robot movements.
