Abstract
In optical CDMA networks using a prime code, the code weight is always equal to the number of codewords M. When M is very large, the resulting cost and power loss of optical CDMA encoder/correlator can be very high. To overcome this difficulty, an efficient design is presented for optical CDMA networks, by using the modified prime codes
