Abstract
We consider the time slotted, packet switched, broadcast type random multiple access channel with infinite number of stations. Due to interference, some successful transmissions are erased, and some empty slots are erroneously interpreted as collisions. Stochastic approximation arguments are employed to derive an adaptive algorithm that performs well when the interference probabilities are unknown.
