Abstract
Morphological analyzer is one of the important module of every Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications. This paper describes about the major issues which are faced during the development of Malayalam Morphological Analyzer. We followed a hybrid approach, i.e. combination of paradigm and suffix stripping approaches, for the development of Morphological Analyzer. The issues which we going to discuss in this paper are related to the technological aspects as well as the language dependent aspects.
