Abstract :
CO2 laser-induced crystallization technique can dramatically reduce the duration of glass ceramics formation from hours to seconds in comparison to conventional thermal heat-treatment. Furthermore, a two-step irradiation expedites nano-crystallization, which can reduce scattering loss.
