Abstract :
The sampled value mapping model and realization method of Merging Unit(MU) is analyzed in this paper. By using synchronized sampling technology, Analog AC signals from traditional PTCT are constructed into a sampled value mapping which defined in IEC60044-7/8 and IEC61850-9-1. So the basic IEC61850 data is established for traditional substations. The test method for MU is proposed and verified. Three sample units have been developed. Tests show that all technical parameters are credible and accurate.
